Newsflash

I'd like to thank everyone who squeezed into that small room at IOD 2007 to learn about "DB2 Scripting Hacks for Linux, UNIX, and Windows (Yes, Windows)". Over 120 people filled the seats and stood in the back of the room to hear my presentation, and I really enjoyed sharing my experience with so many DB2 users. I hope that those who attended found something useful in the presentation to help them with their jobs. IBM didn't include the notes for my presentation slides on the conference CD, so if you'd like a copy of my presentation that includes the slide notes, please contact me and I'll email you a copy.

I'm excited to be co-presenting a case study with David Gleason of ICJIS , an IT agency that provides various information integration services for law enforcement and criminal justice organizations within Maricopa County, Arizona. Not long after forming FRS Consulting in 2005, I started working with ICJIS to help them succeed with DB2. On May 9th, we'll presenting an IDUG conference session entitled "Modernizing the Flow of Information Between the Criminal Justice Agencies", in which we'll share the details of several successful DB2 implementations hosted by ICJIS for an ever-growing user base of county employees.
